It would be very polite if the narrator would let us know when the character has done something out of love. Because love often does not make sense, especially to children and adults who lock themselves up in their rooms to read.
“He loved” could just as well be spoken in the same way “She said” comes around each time she speaks. You’d notice where love goes...
No one can say my life is any less when “I love you” are the words that hold me together. “I love you” says little of it. Yet without those words there’d be little for me to hold onto. They were passing through. You can’t quote the moments that keep anyone from letting go.
I like little words and little thoughts. I like rainy days when the only sound that covers across the house is the silent drum of water tapping against the roof. I like pretending tomorrow doesn’t exist, that there’s a story infinitely deeper than mine: one where my eyes don’t strain.
There’s food in fridge but only just enough. It’s cold but I don’t mind....

The Waiting Room is for Patients too.
“No I won’t dissapoint you” he said,
“but you won’t have my smile. So look at pictures.
I won’t be around If you’d need my advice
do what you should, when it’s wrong.”
he said it’s “cause it’s
hard. I know. That’s why you’d ask.
If you need a hug use your pillow, the pink one.
When you feel lonely buy a dog. You know what
blankets are for” he said, his eyes turning red
“to...

Few can prescribe the solution for another.
We, of our own consent, are none the wiser.
We are for ourselves. It is of everyone else.
A wise friend prescribes support in heavy doses.
Most problems are a cancer mixed with our blood.
After a certain point, it’s no longer important whether you’re good at it or not. As time goes by the only relevancy there is comes in the form of love.
There are unbroken things that need breaking.
Are you a fire cracker, are you an egg?
You’re heart: simple and fragile. Look
how does it harden and how do you heal?
I’ve seen its soft skin, how, uncallous you’ve been.
Ah, it bruises at touch. A bomb has its fuse every
bone knows how to break. Every muscle, yes
a heart knows how to pull. This is gravity (as is insanity)....
Yvonne: Where were you last night?
Rick: That's so long ago, I don't remember.
Yvonne: Will I see you tonight?
Rick: I never make plans that far ahead.

Shoots and Ladders
Less on the latter, moreso now
But some days we’re found
All sliding down.
There are a lot of useless things to say.
They’ve already been said
for hardly any reason.
It don’t make no sense.
It’s not ‘bout love or
any feeling they’ve
forgottentoaddspaces
inbetween. The spealling
could be wronge. But that
Don’t not no mean
that’s wut made it not worth saying
really…

A Rosebed of Tulips
When she asked for a rose bed there was this idea that perhaps roses would be involved.
This guy had a way of surprising her in all the ways she didn’t quite expect. Even when she had in fact said “surprise me” Even when she knew it was coming he still had a way of coming up from behind.
“Surprise me” with any other guy in reference to Valentine’s day usually meant dinner with flowers at the...
Bon Iver is the exact opposite of Dragonforce. It’s a legit comparison. Someone put that on youtube.
Better to say
Better to dig your own grave.
So be a martyr, a saint a lover
Loud mouth loose lips liver eating loser.
Better than not to speak. Which is worse?
Lesser evil and a step nonetheless.
The silent are blessed (to forget)
so forget. But don’t let you
go unsaid.

Outside your room
and then the house: Outside of outside,
yes, there’s a door that leaves there too.
A stuffy old room with a box fan
doesn’t help. The wind blows but
it don’t help much. And there’s a place
you visit that can’t quite exist
says the theorist. But they stay
inside
and inside of inside.
It’s just as stuffy as your room.
Oh, they have...
